The planned program is a sample of the company's most liked repertoire: "The jump of Nijinsky", by María Rovira, a piece inspired by passages from the life of the great myth of classical dance, and "Impronta", also by Rovira; the duet "Soledad", by Rafael Bonachela, features music by Agustín Lara performed by Chavela Vargas.
The second part of the program will begin with "The Death of the Swans", a recreation of the original idea of ​​Mijaíl Fokín and "We", love duo of choreographers Beatriz García and Raúl Reinoso. The show concludes with "Around there is nothing", created by the Spanish Goyo Montero, based on poems by Joaquín Sabina and Vinicius de Moraes.
Since its scenic debut, Acosta Danza has the objective of performing dance shows in full agreement with the most current notions that are developed in the world, not only in terms of the movement of bodies but in everything related to the scene.
The company is defined as a space for renewal, search and experimentation for Cuban artists, and also opens doors to the creators of the world, choreographers, musicians, designers, artists of the plastic and audiovisual.
His choreographic repertoire includes titles by Carlos Acosta, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Justin Peck, Marianela Boán, Goyo Montero, Saburo Teshigawara, Pontus Lidberg, Christopher Bruce, Rafael Bonachela, María Rovira, Jorge Crecis, among others.
