Nearly 700 young people who are currently in 5th year of Plan D and 4th year of Plan E at the University of Matanzas are immersed in the work placement process, as part of the new modifications established in Resolution 29/2019 of the Ministry of Education Superior (MONTH).

According to the website of the House of Higher Studies, this process consists in that graduates from the penultimate year of the career are assigned to an entity, where they must subsequently develop and fulfill their social service.

Known as Early Employment Location, this process responds to a request from the University Student Federation (FEU) that prioritizes the familiarization and linking of students with the employing entity. In addition, it has the purpose of minimizing the level of dissatisfaction of university students by joining the world of work.
